Geometric

Hello all,

I have a more simple graphic to share with you today. It teams together a geometric black and white skirt with a soft pink, short sleeve sweater. If you have not guessed already, this magnificent outfit was created as part of the Christian Dior Couture collection.

What are your thoughts on this graphic?

Baby, You're a Firework

Hello all,

As the school weeks get busier, my time seems to disappear faster and faster with each passing day. Despite this, I try to ensure that some of my energy is put toward hobbies such as Stardoll. As you likely guessed, I do, in fact, have a new graphic to share. This Elie Saab dress was originally going to be used in a Halloween inspired Mini Series - but frankly, I do not have the time for that. I did, however, experiment with a new shading technique on the face.

As always, share your thoughts in the comments section.

Graphic Vault

Hello,

Today I am going to open my graphic vault once again to share with you two designs that I made quite a while ago. At the time, they were among my favourite creations. As you may notice, all of the graphics I have posted here from previous years use clothing made solely by Stardoll. The reason for that is simple: I did not know the first thing about drawing my own outfits. Looking back on my older work, I cannot help but notice how far I have come since. I look forward to further improving my graphic making skills in the future — sharing my work with you, the readers, every step of the way.

Equilibrium

Hello,

Today, I have a new graphic for you using primarily the colours black and white. The design was intended to have a very animated appearance to it. This inspiration has most prominently been displayed in the abstract, cartoon-like background. The me-doll displayed is my own; wearing a Jason Wu outfit.

As always, I would love to read your opinions. If you are not already a follower of this blog, do not forget to become one.

A Colourful Experiment

Hello,

Today I have decided to show you something a little different. Rather than the Stardoll graphics I typically display, I am going to share with you a "Photoshop experiment" of sorts. Over the past few days, I have been working on a recoloured, cartoonized version of my cat. As you can see, I have used primarily the colours yellow and pink to create this effect.

This graphic certainly differs from my usual work. What do you think?

The Vital Vuitton

Hello,

Today marks the first day of fall, my favourite season. For that very reason, I thought it would be fitting to post on this blog a brand new graphic.

This design is inspired by a long-time favourite designer of mine, Louis Vuitton. Upon viewing this graphic, you may notice my me-doll's recent plastic surgery. I thought it was time for a change.

Feel free to share your opinion.

Skull Candy

Hello,

I know you have not heard from me in quite a while.
School has commenced once more, meaning I do not have as much time to devote to my graphics. Nevertheless, I have decided to make a quick, simple design to keep this blog (somewhat) active. Pictured below are two of my favourite Alexander McQueen clutches.

What do you think?

Summer Days, Drifting Away

Hello,

September is upon us, and you know what that means: A new school year is just days away. Some of us who wait in anticipation may be experiencing the back to school jitters, while others look forward to the year that is to come. Regardless of your emotional state, I want to wish you all the best of luck. Work hard, and make the most of your educational career. Schooling is one of the most valuable things we have and it is important not to let it go to waste. As I was once told, "Knowledge is the special key to winning what you want in life and being who you want to be." Excellent words of advice, in my opinion.

Now, as you likely expected, I have a new graphic to share. My me-doll is seen below wearing an Yves Saint Laurent dress.

Blogger: Take Two

Bonjour mes amis,

I hope all is well.
I had some free time today, so I decided to make a new Blogger profile picture for myself. The outfit I have chosen incorporates a DKNY jacket and a Chanel brooch.
What do you all think?

Snape, Snape, Severus Snape

Hello,

Something many of you likely do not know about me is that I am, in fact, a "Harry Potter" fan. In honour of the final movie's release earlier this summer, I have decided to design a graphic inspired by my favourite character - Severus Snape. Though I will admit, given my hair colour, I would more closely resemble a Weasley. Anyway, what do you think?

P.S. I hope someone caught the "Potter Puppet Pals" reference in the title.

Living in Lanvin

Hello all,

I have been on vacation for the past week, hence the lack of posts. Clearly, I have now returned — with a brand new graphic for your viewing pleasure. It was made upon the request of another Stardoll user, and I have decided to share it with all of you.

The model is pictured wearing a Lanvin dress.

Redesign

Hello,

As you would have noticed upon viewing my blog, I have made the decision to edit the existing colour scheme. Personally, I like it better than the previous design. What do you think?

Those of you who are avid readers of this blog will remember that I have mentioned my upcoming mini series several times. Well, I wanted to inform you that its official release is set for Tuesday, August 10. Details concerning the release will be posted later this week — so stay tuned.

Up

Hello all,

Today I thought I would take the time to share a new creation with you. Initially, the concept of this graphic was inspired by the Disney Pixar movie Up. From there, I teamed together a classic pink pencil skirt with a jacket  by the designer Dsquared².

As I mentioned in my previous post, I will be releasing a second mini-series shortly. I will keep you up-to-date with that project as it progresses. For now, do not forget to follow my blog.

Feel free to share your thoughts on my work in the comments section.

Coming Soon

Hello,

As I have already mentioned to some of you, I am currently working on a second mini-series (hence the lack of posts of late). Today I am going to show you a preview of what to expect in this series. As always, I look forward to reading your thoughts on my work.

Back in Black

Hello,

Today I am going to show you a graphic I made quite a while ago. As you can see, the quality is slightly lacking — but I thought you would take interest anyway. This design has been centred around a StarPlaza piece by Chanel. I like to think that my graphics have improved since this point, but what do you think?

From the Editor's Desk

Hello again,

I have been on a graphic-making spree for the past few days! My latest piece is more of a banner really —but nevertheless, I have decided to post it. Here you see my me-doll behind the desk in a city view office making use of an Apple laptop. Of course, a Starbucks cup can be found neatly placed in the midst of the scene.

What are your thoughts on this graphic?

Paint the Town Red

Hello,

The school year of 2010/2011 has officially come to a close — meaning I now have enough time to devote to this blog. Overall it was an enjoyable year, one that has left me with many pleasant memories. While I am somewhat sad to see it end, I look forward to the years that are to come.

As I have said, my time is now more readily available. So, I have made another graphic using a dress from the Gucci Fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear collection. Is it apparent that a favourite colour of mine is red?

In a Box

Hello,

Finally, I have had time to create a new graphic.
I was looking through the Starplaza the other day, when I came across a fairly simple striped shirt. In this piece, I decided to run with that shirt — drawing inspiration from a french mime.

I hope that I will be able to post graphics on a more regular basis, now that my time is beginning to free up.

Sketchbook

Hello,

Today I decided that I would do something a little different. Rather than posting Stardoll graphics the way I normally do, I am going to show you a few pieces from my sketchbook. I have included five of my favourite drawings in this post. If you, as the readers, enjoy this blog entry - I may post others with similar content. So, be sure to give me your opinion in the comments section.

Spring 2011: It's an Art

Hello,

I hope you are all well.
Today I have on display for you, a mini series of graphics. In each of these designs, I have used pieces from the Christian Dior Spring 2011 Couture collection. I have also incorperated several famous works of art into the graphics below. Rather than simply using my own me-doll each time, three prominent graphic designers from the Stardoll community are pictured.

As I have said in previous blog entries, I am quite short on time. As a result of this, the graphics will each be posted separately throughout the month of May. So, check back periodically to see if the next graphic in line has made an appearance.

As always, leave your comments.

A New Design

Hello,

Sadly, I do not have any new graphics to post today. As I mentioned in a previous post, I am quite short on time as a result of school. I have, however, redesigned the blog to create a more spring-like atmosphere. It is nothing drastic, but what do you think?

Black and White

Hello all,

I have decided to create a quick graphic for you to view — using the high contrast between the colours, black and white. Shown in this image is my own medoll, wearing pieces from the Spring 2011 Elie Saab Couture collection. As always, post your thoughts on this design.

The Fuchsia in Cyberspace

Hello,

Yes, I know it has been over a month since I posted anything on here. I have been extremely busy with school, and whatnot. I have had to complete many assignments, all of which were due in the same time proximity - typical. In addition to my usual assignments, I had to prepare for a province-wide literacy test that I wrote today. Those of you residing in Ontario, Canada will know what I am talking about. Anyway, that is enough about me; on to the graphic.

This graphic was initially inspired by the internet. I began with the background; which is made up of screen shots of some of the websites I frequent. I then discovered this Fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear Marc Jacobs outfit. I wanted to incorporate more of the pink shade, used in the skirt. I did so in the colourization of the image.

An interesting fact: This is the first time that I have posted a graphic using a medoll that is not my own. This graphic teams both cyberspace, and the colour pink together. So I thought to myself, who better than Stardoll's very own Perez Hilton?

I would love to read your opinion on this graphic.

The Devil Wears Prada

Hello,

I have come, once again, with a new graphic for you all to view. This is definitely one of my favourite pieces — and my most intricate. This proves true that with hard work, great results can be achieved. That is something that I have always liked to live by.

This graphic features an outfit that is solely Fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear Prada.

A Face to the Name

Hello,

As I have now become active on Blogger, I have decided that it is time to create a profile picture for myself. Here, you see my me-doll wearing my favourite hat and DKNY scarf. You might be seeing a lot of this image — as it is now on display on my Blogger profile page.

When in Red

Hello,

Here is an image that I created focusing heavily on some of my favourite colours. Those colours being, red, black, white and grey. In order to design such a piece, I combined a Fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear Diane von Furstenberg coat with a vintage DKNY scarf and a black Chanel 2.55 bag. I believe that this outfit possesses an air of sophistication. What do you think?

Valentino and the City

Hello again,
Here is yet another creation of mine. This one, showcasing Valentino Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear and the ever loved, Hermès Birkin. Using my own me-doll, I have set the scene in an urban location. As always, I would love to hear your thoughts on this design.

The Arrival

Hello,
Many of you may know me as Luxury_Magazine on Stardoll.com.
If you have not already made the assumption based on the title of this blog; this is, in fact, a blog displaying graphic designs. Whenever I have the time, I will post a new graphic on here for you to enjoy. As I am still in school, I have very limited time; though I will try to post as frequently as I am able to. Rather than continuing this message with several long and drawn-out paragraphs, I will simply show you an example of what you can expect from future blog entries.
So, as follows:

I look forward to reading your thoughts on this piece.
